Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, coordinating diagnostic tests, and crafting tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions collaborating with fellow healthcare professionals or independently based on your qualifications
• Educating patients and families in health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options
• Prescribing medications and therapeutic regimens within your practice scope
• Participating in ongoing patient assessments and chronic care management strategies
• Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to provide integrated, comprehensive patient care
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent credentials in your specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
