- Performing thorough patient evaluations, coordinating diagnostic tests, and crafting tailored care strategies
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions collaborating with fellow healthcare professionals or independently based on your qualifications
- Educating patients and families in health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options
- Prescribing medications and therapeutic regimens within your practice scope
- Participating in ongoing patient assessments and chronic care management strategies
- Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to provide integrated, comprehensive patient care
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Texas
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent credentials in your specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Strong clinical judgment complemented by empathy and positive patient interactions
- Outstanding communication abilities with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Flexibility to thrive in energetic, patient-centric settings
- Proficient in EMR systems and comfortable with telehealth technology
- A cooperative attitude with a strong commitment to evidence-based practices
