Network Architect - CCIE Required

This role is designed for a highly experienced networking expert who can operate at the intersection of architecture, design, and advanced troubleshooting within complex enterprise and data center environments. You will play a critical role in shaping scalable, secure, and high-performance network infrastructures, primarily in Cisco-based ecosystems. The position blends strategic consulting and hands‑on technical execution, with a strong emphasis on client engagement and solution design. You will act as a trusted advisor for enterprise customers, guiding architecture decisions, modernization efforts, and infrastructure optimization. Working in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment, you will also support escalations and contribute to mission‑critical network stability. This is a high‑impact role where technical leadership and communication skills are equally essential. Accountabilities You will be responsible for designing, delivering, and supporting enterprise‑grade network architectures while acting as a senior technical authority across client engagements and internal initiatives. Design and implement end‑to‑end enterprise and data center network architectures, including routing, switching, WAN, and security components. Serve as a subject matter expert across Cisco technologies, SD‑WAN, wireless, load balancing, and network security solutions. Lead client workshops, solution design sessions, and pre‑sales engagements including RFPs and SOW development. Provide Tier3 escalation support for complex network issues, including troubleshooting, optimization, and upgrades. Develop detailed documentation, implementation plans, and technical requirements aligned with client needs. Support capacity planning, lifecycle management, and network performance improvements. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects and deployments. Requirements This role requires deep Cisco expertise, strong architectural experience, and the ability to operate in client‑facing, high‑pressure enterprise environments. Active Cisco CCIE (Routing & Switching or equivalent) certification is required. 3–5+ years of post‑CCIE experience in network architecture, design, and enterprise infrastructure environments. Strong expertise in routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), VLANs, QoS, VPNs, and high‑availability design. Hands‑on experience with Cisco technologies such as ACI, Nexus, Catalyst, ASR, and SD‑WAN solutions. Strong understanding of data center networking, disaster recovery, and network security architecture. Experience with load balancing (e.g., F5), firewalls, and enterprise wireless technologies (Cisco, Aruba). Excellent communication and client‑facing skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in complex environments. Prior consulting or professional services experience is strongly preferred.
