Description Location: UCHealth UCHlth Highlands Ranch Hosp, US:CO:Highlands Ranch Department: HRH Anatomic Pathology Work Schedule: PRN, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Flex Pay: $50.76 - $76.14 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option Summary: Provides services in anatomic pathology under the direction of Pathologist. Responsibilities: Grosses simple, non-complicated and complex surgical pathology specimens, with possible inclusion of dermatology specimens. Performs frozen sections, and provides coverage and support as needed. Aids Attending Pathologist. Obtains pertinent clinical information and history. Maintains Patient Confidentiality by following Healthcare Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action. Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited Pathology Assistant Program. Pathologists' Assistant Board Certified or exam eligible with the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP). Employees are our number one asset.
