You will lead advanced diagnostics, precision repairs, and proactive maintenance on cutting-edge equipment, while mentoring junior technicians and driving operational excellence. Own Your Territory: Maintain and repair forklifts, heavy machinery, and material handling equipment across warehousing, distribution, and manufacturing industries. Advanced Diagnostics & Repairs Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues with precision and efficiency. Fix it Right, The First Time: Perform top-quality repairs & preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and minimize breakdowns. Own the Fleet: Maintain WMH and customer equipment at peak performance through scheduled maintenance, inspections, and safety checks. Lead & Mentor the Next Generation Train & Develop Junior Techs: Share expertise and coach the next generation of mechanics. Customer Engagement & Service Excellence Deliver Outstanding Customer Support: Provide expert consultation, service recommendations, and technical solutions. Customer-Focused Communication: Keep customers informed about service updates, repairs, and proactive maintenance. Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate service reports, repair logs, and work orders; uphold OSHA standards and industry regulations for safe, compliant work environments. The Field Diverse job sites Weather-ready; wet, humid, hot, or cold Embrace dust and noise Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Experience: 5+ years as a mechanic/technician in material handling, heavy equipment, or automotive industries Technical Expertise: Diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and industrial machinery Certifications: ASE Certification (preferred) in brakes, electrical, diesel, and preventative maintenance.
