Our focus spans proprietary technology, consulting, and energy transition to complete delivery of major capital projects and programs.KBR is looking for an Instrumentation & CSE – Senior Engineer who will be responsible for the technical and operation engineering of assigned instrumentation and process control system scope, including DCS, telecommunications, instrumentation, and process analyzers for medium to large oil and gas, refining and petrochemical projects.Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Assist the execution lead, with an eye for managing cost, scope, schedule, and internal reporting requirements for assigned tasks.Use strong organizational savvy and relationship building skills to influence both internal and external resourcesUnder the direction of the lead, this individual has the responsibility, accountability, and authority to manage the execution of assigned aspects of the engineering design in accordance with applicable specifications and standards to achieve project objectivesAssembles clear, accurate scopes of work and construction packages including documentationFacilitates safety and constructability reviewsCreates requisitions for engineered items and development of spare parts listCommunicates technical and commercial issues o the lead as related to project objectivesSuccessfully communicates with leadership, engineers, designers, document control, procurement, and all other departmentsEnsures all project documentation is completedRequired Education, Experience, & Skills:EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering10+ years of industrial oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, or heavy industries experience5+ years of experience in technical control systems leadershipTotal Minimum 10 years of experienceExperience developing process control specifications and control system designExperience leading initiatives and managing suppliersDemonstrated experience requisitioning, evaluating bids, and reviewing/managing supplier data for instruments and process control systems, such as DCS, PLC, SIS, BMSDemonstrated experience in instrumentationExperience with electrical schematic drawings, logic diagrams, and panel schedulesStrong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members, other disciplines, procurement, clients, and other stakeholders.Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing project challenges.Attention to detail and the ability to ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date.Preferred Education & Skills:PE or P.Eng.Knowledge of and exposure to telecoms, cyber security, and process analyzer engineeringKBR Benefits​KBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
