Gina Gonzalez State Farm is seeking a bilingual, customer-focused Insurance Customer Retention & Sales Representative to join our growing team!

Licensing Requirements

Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses are required for this position.

• Property & Casualty license must be obtained before your Day 1 start date.

• Life & Health licenses must be obtained within the agency's established timeframe after starting.

• Full licensing guidance, study resources, and support are provided.

• Already licensed candidates are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

Customer Service & Retention – 50%

• Deliver exceptional service to English- and Spanish-speaking customers.

• Assist with policy changes, billing questions, renewals, and coverage inquiries.

• Conduct proactive customer outreach and policy reviews.

• Resolve concerns with patience, empathy, and professionalism.

• Build trusted relationships that strengthen customer loyalty and retention.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely follow-up.

Insurance Sales & Account Growth – 50%

• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.

• Quote, present, and close Auto, Home, Renters, Life, and other insurance products.

• Recognize coverage gaps and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.

• Confidently transition service conversations into needs-based sales opportunities.

• Generate additional business through referrals, customer outreach, and follow-up.

• Meet established sales and customer retention goals.

• Fluent in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate professionally in both languages.

• Genuine passion for helping customers and delivering outstanding service.

• Strong communication, active listening, and relationship-building skills.

• Comfortable balancing service responsibilities with sales expectations.

• Confident recommending products and asking for the business.

• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.

• Coachable, positive, and committed to personal and professional growth.

• Previous insurance, sales, customer service, or account management experience preferred.

• Willingness and ability to obtain required insurance licenses.
