Senior Procurement Manager

Abbott seeks a Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement strategy and supplier management across three manufacturing sites within the Core Lab business. The role involves driving sourcing initiatives, optimizing supplier performance, and managing a procurement team to ensure cost-effective, reliable supply of materials and services.

Responsibilities

• Execute procurement and sourcing strategies aligned with enterprise and business unit objectives
• Lead and develop procurement team responsible for supplier relationship management and compliance
• Identify, assess, and mitigate supplier and supply chain risks to ensure continuity of supply
• Drive cost reduction initiatives, productivity improvements, and inventory optimization
• Establish and maintain supplier relationships and performance management processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or Operations Management
• 7+ years progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain operations
• Experience in manufacturing or operational environments
• Demonstrated success managing supplier relationships and negotiating purchase agreements
• Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract administration
• Experience evaluating supplier performance and mitigating supply chain risks
