Marketing Assistant - Graphic Design

Student Intermediate Level Position Summary **WE ARE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION FROM ALL STUDENTS REGARDLESS OF WORK STUDY AWARD** The UNM Bookstores are seeking a proactive and creative student to contribute to the success of their marketing initiatives. Reporting directly to the Sr. Marketing Representative, the Marketing Assistant will play an integral role in advancing the bookstores’ marketing efforts. Responsibilities include conceptualizing and creating artwork for both print and digital media, such as flyers, advertisements, brochures, posters, signage, and graphics for web and social media. This role supports the development of visually engaging materials that align with brand standards and current marketing campaigns. This position will also be responsible for managing the in-house print production process. This includes preparing files for print (formatting, sizing, and quality checks), operating printing equipment, and ensuring all materials are produced accurately and efficiently. Attention to detail and an understanding of print specifications are essential to maintain high-quality output. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic student with a strong work ethic who thrives in a creative, team-oriented environment. Candidates should have a solid foundation in graphic design for both digital and print, be highly creative and professional, and possess a collaborative mindset. Location: Main - Albuquerque, NM.
