Overview
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to support patient care in a hospital setting in Nashua, New Hampshire. Start date: July 13, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 pm–7:00 am). Weekly pay: $2,095–$2,234 per week.

Responsibilities
- Draw and analyze arterial blood gases (ABG), monitor ABG results, and document findings; perform ABG controls and adjustments as indicated.
- Administer and manage therapies per Therapist Driven Protocols (TDP), including oxygen, aerosol therapy, incentive spirometry, hyperinflation, and MDI/UDN therapy; document in EMR.
- Provide continuous mechanical ventilator management, conduct spontaneous breathing trials, assess ventilated patients, adjust parameters, and participate in weaning as appropriate.
- Perform emergency procedures, respond to Code Blue/RRT activations, and participate in airway management including endotracheal intubation when trained and competent.
- Deliver bronchial hygiene, chest physical therapy, and related airway clearance techniques; monitor and adjust therapy based on patient response.
- Document all activities in the EMR, maintain accurate Cardex and treatment cards, and communicate recommendations to physicians and the care team.
- Train or educate patients and families when appropriate, and support multidisciplinary teamwork in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Requirements
- Current New Hampshire license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)
- National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience with the listed therapeutic modalities and ability to work effectively within a hospital-based team
- Ability to perform duties in an acute care setting and adhere to department policies and procedures
