Join the NCN Family & Community Wellness Centre as a Foot Care Nurse, focusing on holistic foot health in Nelson House, Manitoba. This permanent role combines clinical expertise with community care. As a Foot Care Nurse, you will assess and treat foot conditions while working closely with clients and the Community Health Team. Your role is vital in ensuring comprehensive follow-up services and facilitating effective communication among healthcare professionals. Solid advocacy and a commitment to client safety are key aspects of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Conduct foot assessments for circulation and sensation Assist in the treatment of corns and thickened nails Monitor and ensure effectiveness of care programs Collaborate with health staff for seamless care transition Maintain confidentiality and advocate for clients Requirements Active registration as a nurse in Manitoba Minimum two years of experience as a Foot Care Nurse Familiarity with First Nation traditions and values Required Foot Care and possibly Wound Care Certificates Valid Manitoba driver’s license required Empower clients through skilled foot care and collaborative health support at NCN Wellness Centre. #J-18808-Ljbffr NCN Wellness
