Office Assistant - Part Time

Responsible for maintaining accurate computer records and performing shipping and office support duties. Computer proficiency and attention to detail are essential. ?The position will also support office administration with providing customer support, including answering phones and on-line communications. Training will be provided over time and in incremental fashion.

Our office is located just east of Harlan, Indiana, which is where this offered position will be located.

Job hours would be 4 hours a day, Monday Friday (on site required). Desired work time would be 930am-130pm (start and end time flexibility may be considered).

ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods
• Strong oral and written English communication/comprehension skills
• Basic math proficiency
• Ability to occasionally lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Cannot be allergic to dogs (we have a 4-legged office companion)

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of office or shipping experience
• Computer proficiency required; Google Sheets (and/or Excel) and Google Docs (and/or Word)
• Experience with Zoho Books, InXpress Shipping, xhqgsiq and/or Shopify e-commerce, while not required, is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
