Family is searching for a full-time individual; Tentative schedule (Monday-Friday/35-40 hours per week, 9am-5pm) 1-on-1 program for a 26yr old special needs man with little behavioral issues. This individual must make independent decisions, plan daily activities and adapt to change within employer’s home life. Be proactive and a self-starter. This is not a babysitting position.
Caregiver duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to the following;
* Personal Care (Bathing/Grooming/Dressing/Toileting, etc.)
* Life Skills (Shopping, Doctor Appointments, etc.)
* Chores (Laundry/Trash/Dishes/Making Bed/Cleaning Room, etc.)
* Communication (Cognitive direction and proper word reminders, Daily Paperwork and Communication Logs, etc.)
* Fun Activities
Individual must have own vehicles with clean driving record. Must pass background check. Nonsmokers preferred.
