Finance Manager – Capital ProjectsLouisville, KY | Hybrid (2 days remote per week)Compensation: $100,000 to $130,000 per yearA finance organization with U.S. headquarters based in Louisville, KY is hiring a Finance Manager to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and core finance processes for its growing U.S. operations. This role reports to the Group Finance Director and partners closely with operations, engineering, and executive leadership to provide financial visibility into project performance, capital expenditures, and overall business results.ScheduleThis is a hybrid position based in Louisville, KY, with the flexibility to work remotely 2 days per week.Compensation$100,000 to $130,000 per year, based on experience.What You’ll DoThis role leads the monthly close process, including preparation and review of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations, and oversees Blackline reconciliations and system uploads. The Finance Manager produces monthly financial statements and reporting packages with narrative analysis and presents financial results to leadership during monthly review meetings.On the forecasting side, this person owns the 13 week cash flow forecast and ongoing liquidity analysis, supports monthly rolling forecasts and budget updates, analyzes variances between actuals, forecast, and budget, and delivers actionable financial insights and recommendations to leadership.The role also ensures compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, oversees preparation and filing of returns and reports, and manages relationships with external advisors and auditors. Working closely with engineering and operations, this person tracks capital expenditures and project budgets, monitors project costs and timelines, and manages asset capitalization processes.Additional responsibilities include identifying and implementing process improvements, driving automation and efficiency across financial systems, and providing oversight and guidance to accounting staff as a key finance partner to operations and leadership.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field8 to 12+ years of experience in accounting or financeStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reportingERP and financial systems experience (D365 or similar platforms)Advanced Excel skillsStrong analytical and problem solving skills with excellent attention to detailExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesPreferred QualificationsCPA licenseMBAExperience with tax credits and incentivesProject or capital accounting experienceMulti entity or international business exposurePower BI experienceCompensation and Benefits$100,000 to $130,000 per yearMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) planPaid time offTo apply, please submit your resume for consideration.
