Duties and Responsibilities: Machine Operation – Run Machitech Plasma Cutting Table & Machitech Beam Line Material Handling – Oversee the staging loading of steel for processing using overhead cranes & forklifts. Setup & Operation – Select & replace consumables, set cutting parameters, adjust feed rates. Quality Control – Check finished pieces with appropriate tools to match plans. Maintenance – Coordinates the maintenance, daily cleaning, calibration & upgrades to equipment. Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of job, department or crew.
