We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Theory Educators to join our growing team and lead engaging after-school theatre programs for elementary and middle school students. This role is ideal for educators who are passionate about acting, storytelling, and creative expression, and who enjoy creating a fun, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
In this role, you will:- Teach Music Theory to students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade.
- Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and lead engaging acting exercises, improvisation games, storytelling activities, and creative performances.
- Foster confidence, creativity, communication, and teamwork through theatre-based activities.
- Adapt lessons to different ages, experience levels, and learning styles.
- Effectively manage student behavior using positive reinforcement.
- Maintain accurate attendance and incident records.
- Prepare and organize activity materials, keeping the learning space clean, safe, and engaging.
- Schedule: TBC
Hourly Pay Rate: $50 - Estimated Start Date 8/24/2026 - Estimated End Date 12/18/2026
Requirements
- 18+ years of age
- Ability and willingness to complete 3 hours of online training prior to the start date. (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR)
- Authorization to work in the US
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
