Registered Nurse (RN) - Charge Nurse Peak Rehabilitation Hospital - Apex, NC Sign-On Bonus $15,000 About the Role A Registered Nurse (RN) - Charge Nurse who excels in this role will: Oversee daily clinical operations and ensure continuity of care across departments Serve as the primary clinical resource for staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts Assess unit needs and prioritize staffing assignments and patient care activities Coordinate admissions, patient flow, and room placement Ensure delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered care Monitor patient care activities to reduce risk and prevent errors Provide direct patient care as needed based on unit demands Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation Oversee completion and accuracy of Interdisciplinary Care Plans Support Quality Indicator (QI) processes and performance improvement initiatives Promote adherence to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best practices Support staff development, education, and a positive work environment Assist with staffing, scheduling, productivity, and operational workflows Qualifications Applicants should have a current state RN license and have graduated from an accredited nursing program.
