Bartlesville Health & Rehab Community is hiring Certified Medication Aides to join our nursing team. We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented, and compassionate team members who take medication safety seriously and are committed to providing respectful care to residents.

CMAs assist with medication administration under the direction of a licensed nurse and in accordance with physician orders, facility policy, and Oklahoma certification requirements. This includes passing medications, documenting medication administration, monitoring for resident refusals or concerns, reporting medication issues to the nurse, and helping ensure medications are administered safely, accurately, and on time.

In addition to medication duties, CMAs may assist residents with daily care needs such as answering call lights, helping with meals, hydration, toileting, transfers, personal care, comfort, and other resident needs within their certification and training. CMAs also help observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, pain, appetite, mobility, skin, or overall well-being to the nurse.

This role is an important part of resident safety and quality care. A successful CMA is accurate, organized, patient, trustworthy, calm under pressure, and able to communicate well with nurses, CNAs, residents, families, pharmacy, and other team members.

Applicants must have a current Oklahoma CMA certification, good communication skills, a team-focused attitude, and a commitment to resident rights, confidentiality, infection control, medication safety, and quality care.
