Department Manager – McDonald’s A Department Manager at a McDonald’s restaurant operated by Tri County Management offers an opportunity to grow your skills while earning competitive benefits. You’ll lead shifts and possibly oversee specific departments such as Guest Service, Kitchen, or People. Key Responsibilities Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, friendly service. Manage assigned systems like Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management; set goals, delegate tasks, and report results. Guest Service Department Manager: ensure crew and managers deliver a great customer experience, manage sales promotions, train staff in service procedures, and organize the front counter, McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas. Kitchen Department Manager: ensure quality food delivery, food safety, cost control, and training on production procedures including new menu items. People Department Manager: hire qualified crew, train them, schedule to meet sales and profit goals, motivate and recognize crew. Qualifications Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment. You must be 18 years old or older to be a Department Manager.
