The Mortgage Loan Originator plays a key role in guiding clients through the residential mortgage process, ensuring smooth loan application and processing. Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, this position involves minimal travel and requires a thorough understanding of mortgage products and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Complete and review loan applications for residential mortgages
- Coordinate loan processing activities to ensure timely approval
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in mortgage loan origination
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active NMLS License
- Knowledge of mortgage underwriting principles
