Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources function. This role will serve as a key partner to employees and leadership across the organization, providing support in employee relations, onboarding, performance management, compliance, benefits administration, talent acquisition, and HR programs. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced biotech environment and enjoys balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on HR execution. Key Responsibilities Employee Relations & HR Support Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace issues. Support employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, performance concerns, and corrective actions. Promote a positive employee experience and help maintain a strong company culture. Partner with hiring managers and recruiting teams throughout the hiring process. Coordinate candidate interviews, offer letters, background checks, and onboarding activities. Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding experience. Assist in administering performance review cycles and employee development programs. Support managers with performance improvement plans and employee coaching initiatives. Track training participation and support learning and development programs. Assist with employee benefits enrollment, changes, and open enrollment activities. Coordinate leave of absence administration, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and state-specific leave programs. Partner with benefits providers and employees to resolve benefit-related inquiries. Maintain employee records and HRIS data with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Assist with audits, reporting requirements, and policy updates. Support immigration and visa administration as needed for scientific and technical employees. Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events. Support diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives. Participate in HR process improvement projects and organizational growth initiatives. Required Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field. 3 to 6 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist capacity. Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations. Experience supporting multi-state employee populations. Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Preferred Experience within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, or other regulated industries. Knowledge of California employment law. Experience supporting scientific, clinical, manufacturing, or research teams. Experience with compensation administration and workforce planning. #J-18808-Ljbffr Precision Point
