This role will work on a team of Accountants and will report directly to the Accounting Manager./ph3How You Will Own It:/h3ullipTake ownership of assigned GL accounts and ensure accuracy, understanding, and consistency of application and compliance with GAAP/p/lilipResponsible for performing various/month end/quarter end close activities to meet accounting close deadlines. These include, but are not limited to, journal entry preparation and submission and preparation of appropriate support/p/lilipReconcile and maintain the integrity of the assigned balance sheet and income statement accounts/p/lilipCreate, upload, and modify accounting entries into accounting system and maintain workpapers in accordance with GAAP and company policies and procedures/p/lilipDocument internal controls surrounding the tasks performed to ensure completion of close checklist/p/lilipEstablish productive relationships within the accounting team and other departments/p/lilipProvide accurate and timely responses to requests from internal customers including accounting, finance, and operations/p/lilipAssist with other ad-hoc project as necessary/p/li/ulh3What Youll Bring:/h3ullipBachelors degree with a focus in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience/p/lilip3 to 5 years of accounting experience preferred/p/lilipExperience obtaining and analyzing data from an ERP system (Oracle experience preferred, but not required)/p/lilipProficient with Excel (including experience with pivot tables)/p/lilipStrong analytical and quantitative skills/p/lilipCandidate should be effective in time management of schedule/p/lilipAbility to multi-task while working on a fast-paced environment/p/lilipExcellent written and verbal communication abilities/p/lilipCandidate should have strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well on a team and a positive disposition/p/lilipAbility to follow instruction, complete assignments in a timely manner/p/li/ulpAdded Fuel if you have:/pullipOracle Cloud Experience/p/lilipActive CPA license, pursuing CPA/p/lilipKnowledge of US GAAP Standards and SOX Compliance/p/li/ulpApplicants for our positions are considered without regard to race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, religion, military or veteran status, or any other characteristics protected by law./p/div
