AO specializes in treating a variety of cancers including lymphoma lung, breast, prostate, gynecologic, colorectal and head and neck cancers. Our physicians and staff are multi-disciplinary team of highly experienced caregivers focused on helping patients and their families receive the best care and support possible.

SCOPE: Performs advanced maintenance duties both inside and outside the clinic facilities. Responsible for general facility maintenance work requests. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Performs routine and specific assignments including repairing and maintenance of equipment.

- Cleans and repairs fans, air conditioners, carts, etc. Performs general servicing of plumbing, heating, and air conditioning.

- Assembles, moves, and installs furniture and fixtures.

- Repairs desks, file cabinets, chairs and other furniture and fixtures.

- Installs and repairs floor and wall coverings.

- Handles materials on major repair or installation projects.

- Assists with electrical work under minimal supervision including performing electrical safety checks of equipment and testing generators and emergency equipment.

- Receives shipments and delivers supplies

- Maintains adequate supply inventories of such items as filters, lamps and janitorial supplies.

- Empties trash, cleans restrooms, offices, vacuums/mops floors, dusts, washes inside window/door glass.

- Replenishes supplies in restrooms and lounges, changes light bulbs, makes routine repairs to buildings and equipment.

- Maintains clinic grounds including mowing, watering, spraying, trash pickup, etc.

- Maintains clean, safe, and organized work environment.

- May perform daily quality assurance testing of linear accelerators.

- Monitors the heating and cooling systems. - May manufacture cerrobend blocks for radiation department.

- May install and upgrade modems and CD-ROMs at the clinic sites.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Trade school or vocational diploma preferred.

- Minimum three to five years of maintenance experience.

- State Maintenance Electrical License preferred.

Pay Rate:

$12-$17/hour
