Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for medical-surgical telemetry patients under standard nursing protocols
- Monitor, interpret, and respond to continuous telemetry readings and patient status
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and document all interventions accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust patient care plans
- Perform accurate assessments, organize care, and coordinate discharge planning as appropriate
- Float to like units and overflow areas as needed, while maintaining patient safety and compliance with hospital policies

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience
- Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS; Current AHABLS Certification
- Telemetry competency exam required; pass during onboarding (one attempt with an 85% passing threshold)
- Ability to float to other Med Surg Tele floors and overflow areas
- Able to work 12-hour night shifts; proficient in electronic medical records and nursing documentation
