Job Description:

Bon Secours Mercy Health Springfield Regional Medical Center is seeking a Cardiothoracic/Vascular Surgeon for call coverage!
Start Date: 05/28/2026, ongoing for at least 2 months, with sporadic coverage afterward.
This is a full-service acute care hospital with a 250-bed capacity, including 60 ICU beds.
The hospital performs a wide range of procedures including general CV/vascular surgeries, coronary artery bypass, congenital defect repairs, valvular repairs/replacements, aneurysm repairs, lung resections (including VATs), chest wall/pleural procedures, esophagus/diaphragm surgeries, endarterectomy (carotid & renal), ventilation management, bronchoscopy, and management of acute volume/BP issues.


Onsite facilities include lab and x-ray, with documentation managed via EPIC.
There is 1 physician currently practicing and 2 mid-level providers on staff.


Requirements:

• Proficiency in performing complex cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries listed above.
• Ability to provide call coverage as needed.
• Travel Reimbursement: All bookings must be standard/economy; lodging must be within $150/night; any exceeding costs require prior approval.

Hourly Pay Rate: $19.50
