Operational Analyst

Position Overview Genesis10 is currently seeking an Operational Analyst for a position with a Regional Financial Institution located in Brooklyn, OH. This is a 5+ month contract opportunity. Compensation: Up to $30.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications. Key Responsibilities Create, edit, and test application and operational procedures for Lockbox Operations and Support Write and execute test scripts for operational testing of applications in process improvement projects Perform business analysis for payment and deposit applications as assigned, which can include mainframe, PC, distributed systems, databases, and/or web-based applications Mine data from primary and secondary sources, often using complex joins across multiple datasets Play a leadership role in providing ongoing production support within Payment and Deposit Operations applications and processes Act as the first line of contact for user-reported inquiries and problems, performing problem reporting, tracking, resolution, root cause analysis, and identification of preventative measures Deliver high-quality support and great service to internal/external partners and clients Translate business needs and requirements to Technology partners and translate technical material to business areas Requirements Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience of ideally 2 years in an operational or support environment Attention to detail in documenting and implementing requirements Highly organized, detail-oriented with the ability to thoroughly analyze and resolve issues Ability to facilitate research and resolution of complex issues Strong aptitude for technology-based tools and databases (i.e., Excel, Access) Desired Skills 1-2 years of Operational Analyst experience Technically savvy in relation to Windows systems and software Experience in Excel and Jira with an ability to manage large data sets, creating summary views using pivot tables and data graphs/visualization Benefits of Working with Genesis10 Access to hundreds of clients, most who have been working with Genesis10 for 5-20+ years The opportunity to have a career-home in Genesis10; many of our consultants have been working exclusively with Genesis10 for years Access to an experienced, caring recruiting team (more than 7 years of experience, on average) Behavioral Health Platform Medical, Dental, Vision Health Savings Account Voluntary Hospital Indemnity (Critical Illness & Accident) Voluntary Term Life Insurance 401K Sick Pay (for applicable states/municipalities) Commuter Benefits (Dallas, NYC, SF, and Illinois) Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
