Associate Housekeeper
Join a dedicated team focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within a healthcare setting in the Midwest region. This role involves thorough cleaning and disinfecting of operating rooms and common areas, ensuring compliance with infection control and safety policies. Responsibilities include proper handling and disposal of regular and biohazardous waste, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, and collaborating effectively with team members to meet department goals.
Education: A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in a related cleaning or support services role is preferred, ideally 1-2 years.
Requirements: Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is a plus. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. Commitment to following infection prevention and safety protocols is required. This position is full-time, day shift, with scheduled weekly hours totaling 37.5, including every other weekend and holiday shifts.
