Registered Nurse Trauma ICU

Shift: Days, 3x12

Patient Ratio: 1:2 Beds/Rooms: 16 beds, 14 rooms Daily Census: 14

Minimum 2 years RN experience Travel experience required Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Preferred certifications: PALS, TNCC Proficient in charting with Epic

Provide comprehensive nursing care to trauma patients in a critical care environment. Monitor and manage ventilated patients, including ventilator, BiPAP, and CPAP management. Administer blood products and maintain central lines. Interpret dysrhythmias and perform ICP monitoring as necessary. Facilitate interdisciplinary communication and care coordination. Assist in rapid response situations as required.

License: State or Compact license must be in hand at the time of submission. Residency restriction: Travelers residing in certain counties are not contracted. Orientation modules to be completed onsite during orientation. Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler. COVID-19 and flu vaccine requirements are currently unknown.
