As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Detail in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a government transit location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $28.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout stations, platforms, parking areas, transit facilities, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and public areas, observe pedestrian activity, and document security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to site expectations.
• Support a professional presence at the location by following post orders, preparing clear reports, and assisting with crowd flow, directional guidance, and other security-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
