Livingston Pipe and Tube, Inc., a carbon steel pipe and tube distributor based in Staunton, Illinois, is seeking a warehouse employee that has the desire to learn how to operate commercial cutting equipment with prior welding experience. Key Responsibilities as a Warehouse Employee ✓ Operate commercial cutting equipment ✓ Cutting of steel pipe and tube ✓ Work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service ✓ Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within the parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices Physical Requirements ✓ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards ✓ Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards ✓ Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds ✓ Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone Qualifications ✓ High school diploma or GED ✓ Welding experience ✓ Self-motivated with a positive, professional attitude ✓ Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment ✓ The ability to read a tape measure Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Short-term and Long-term Disability Insurance Mon. - Fri.: 8am - 5pm Sat. & Sun.: Closed Contact for shipping hours #J-18808-Ljbffr
