Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Sarasota, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shift: 07:00 - 15:00

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac care, with specific experience in cath lab procedures. The role requires both independence and the ability to work collaboratively within a high-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, performing assessments and administering medications as needed.
• Assist with various cardiac procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, PPM, Impella, and IABP.
• Work as part of a call team during night shifts.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in GE EMR - Meditech.
• Collaborate with a team of RN's and techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license in the state of Florida.
• Prior experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting is mandatory.
• Experience with Impella, IABP, vents, and other related equipment preferred.
• Strong ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in a high-stress environment.
