Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Travel at Program: RightSourcing Program - OU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - OU Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Stepdown/PCU experience. Needs 2 RECENT years of experience in Cath lab.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Clinicians should have strong Trauma Level 1 experience and/or be willing to work with difficult cases.

Required Credentials: A graduate of post-secondary educational program in health science (includes, but not limited to, cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, or paramedic/EMT) as defined by ARRT or CCI. Completion of JRCERT accredited Military Educational Program is accepted in lieu of other educational requirements.

Unit Details: OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center is Oklahoma’s only Level I Trauma Center. Assists physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose, monitor and treat simple to complex conditions, defects and/or diseases without surgery. Assists providers in performing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures including but not limited to cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, angiography, device implantation, biopsies, thrombectomy, embolization and pain management. Acts as a scrub tech while assisting providers during procedures. Maintains a strict sterile field adhering to safety protocols. Transfers images and data to the appropriate electronic health system, enters technical data/findings and prepares the study for reporting by physician. Performs quality control checks, cleaning, disinfecting and other equipment maintenance tasks per manufacturer instructions for use and regulatory guidelines. May engage in teaching students in the radiologic program and precepting new or less experienced team members. Cases include STEMI, shock, VAD, ECMO, and structural heart. We run with Philips and are adding new Siemens imaging equipment in March. Hemosystem is Xper.

Shift & Scheduling: Provides on-call clinical coverage outside regularly scheduled duty hours on weekdays, weekends and holidays as assigned.

Floating Requirements: Travelers will be first to float.
