2027 Summer Intern: Accounting - Revenue & Compliance

Job Overview

The Hubbell Internship Program is a 10 to 12-week program providing students the opportunity to gain corporate experience, learn about all aspects of our business, and prepare students with the kind of experience needed to have a rewarding career at Hubbell.

This intern will focus on supporting revenue recognition and technical accounting processes through SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR). The intern will analyze and resolve routine RAR processing exceptions, identify recurring error trends, and collaborate with Accounting, Pricing, Revenue Operations, and IT teams to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency. The role includes developing standardized process documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge repositories to streamline issue resolution, support audit readiness, and strengthen internal controls. The intern will also assist with audit support activities, business process improvements, and data management initiatives, culminating in recommendations that enhance revenue accounting processes and reporting capabilities across the organization.

What will help you thrive in this role?

• Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the internship program period (May-August 2027), pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree related to the internship (required)
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (required)
• Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred
• Familiarity with relevant software and systems

Intern compensation is determined based on academic standing and expected graduation date. Hourly rates for this position range from $22.50 to $29.00 per hour.
