Director of Community Relations

Develops and executes sales and marketing programs to achieve occupancy and revenue goals; builds relationships with referral sources; partners with on‑site teams to deliver an exceptional prospect experience. Essential Job Functions Collaborate with leadership to develop, implement, and update sales/marketing plans (events, seminars, networking, advertising, PR, outreach). Manage departmental spend within budget; review operating statements; explain variances; maintain records. Cultivate key relationships with professional and community sources; partner with staff to ensure inquiry, tour, follow‑up, and closing processes are handled expertly. Knowledge/Skills English fluency; demonstrated sales success; multi‑tasking; written and verbal communication. High proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail, Calendar, Meet). Comfort using Gardens Care’s approved systems is required: Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail, Calendar, Meet), ECP (care management), Sagely (life enrichment/ activity documentation), and ADP (timekeeping, payroll, scheduling). Special Requirements Commitment to learning about the senior population; discretion; initiative; attention to detail; teamwork; medical clearance; valid driver’s license and acceptable record (if driving). Tools & Equipment Computer; printer/copier/scanner; telephone/cell phone. Physical Activities Lift/carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally; push/pull up to 50 lbs. occasionally; reach/bend/ twist occasionally; sit ~4 hrs; stand/walk ~4 hrs per 8‑hr day.
