Job Summary

The Mental/Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) tends to the physical and emotional needs of assigned clients and fosters a supportive group living environment. Full-Time Shift Options:

• Monday-Friday Standard: 6:00 AM 2:00 PM
• Sunday-Wednesday Rotation:
  • Sunday: 6:00 AM 10:00 PM
  • Monday & Tuesday: 2:00 PM 10:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM & 12:00 PM 10:00 PM
• Wednesday-Saturday Rotation:
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM & 12:00 PM 10:00 PM
  • Thursday & Friday: 2:00 PM 10:00 PM
  • Saturday: 6:00 AM 10:00 PM

PRN Schedule:

• Flexible schedules based on your availability and the needs of the campus.
• Minimum requirement: One (1) shift every 30 days.

Responsibilities:

• Providing meals and snacks
• Assisting with personal care
• Monitoring medication
• Intervening in crisis situations
• Creating a positive and supportive environment
• Managing conflict
• Enforcing house rules
• Attending treatment team meetings
• Providing input on treatment plans
• Implementing treatment plans

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalency
• Class E driver's license with good driving record
• Strong customer service focus
• Excellent time management
• Oral and written communication skills
• Word, Excel, and e-mail applications proficiency
