We are hiring a skilled Lead Restoration Technician / Mitigation Crew Lead to manage field operations, guide technicians, and ensure restoration projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with IICRC standards. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who takes ownership of jobsite performance, crew development, and customer satisfaction.What You'll DoLead water damage restoration, fire and smoke mitigation, and structural drying projectsSupervise technicians and subcontractors on residential and commercial job sitesPerform moisture inspections, moisture mapping, and job condition assessmentsSet up and manage drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers)Oversee containment, demolition, debris removal, and cleaning operationsEnforce PPE usage, safety compliance, and contamination control protocolsEnsure work aligns with IICRC S500 and S700 standardsMaintain accurate job documentation including moisture readings, equipment logs, photos, and daily notesCommunicate clearly with customers, adjusters, and internal team membersCoach, mentor, and develop restoration techniciansWhat You Bring3+ years of experience in restoration, mitigation, disaster recovery, or constructionPrior crew lead, foreman, or supervisory experienceStrong understanding of water mitigation, drying principles, and fire damage cleanupValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordAbility to perform physically demanding work and respond to emergency service callsPreferred QualificationsIICRC WRT and FSRT certifications required; ASD or advanced certifications preferredExperience working on insurance-driven restoration projectsFamiliarity with restoration job management and documentation softwareCompensation & Career GrowthCompetitive pay based on experienceOvertime and on-call earning opportunitiesCompany-supported IICRC certification and leadership developmentClear advancement path to Project Manager, Estimator, or Operations ManagerStable, year-round work in essential emergency restoration servicesServiceMaster Restore franchise locations are independently owned and operated.Built on a foundation of great brands and employees with a passion for service, our vision is to be the leading provider of essential services through empowered people, world-class customer service and convenient access.
