Monica Kaplan State Farm is seeking a competitive, sales-driven professional to join our team as an Insurance Sales Representative – Account Manager.

This is a sales-dominant position for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, uncovering insurance needs, presenting solutions, and confidently closing business. You’ll work with both new and existing customers to generate sales, expand accounts, and help customers build appropriate protection across multiple insurance products.

Insurance experience is preferred, but we are willing to develop a motivated, coachable sales professional who is committed to completing licensing and building a successful insurance career.

Licensing Requirements

Full insurance licensing is required before your first day in the agency.

• Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses must be obtained prior to your Day 1 start date.

• Already licensed candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Unlicensed candidates may be considered if willing and able to complete licensing before starting.

• Licensing guidance and support are available throughout the process.

What You’ll Do

• Generate new business through warm leads, cold leads, referrals, outbound prospecting, and follow-up.

• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers.

• Conduct needs-based insurance conversations and policy reviews.

• Quote, present, and close Auto, Home, Renters, Life, and other insurance products.

• Identify coverage gaps, cross-sell opportunities, and ways to expand existing accounts.

• Build and manage a consistent sales pipeline.

• Follow up with prospects and customers to convert opportunities into sales.

• Present recommendations, overcome objections, and confidently ask for the business.

• Generate referrals through strong customer relationships.

• Meet individual and agency sales and production goals.

• Comfortable prospecting and initiating sales conversations.

• Comfortable discussing Life insurance as part of a complete protection conversation.

• Customer-focused approach to consultative, needs-based selling.

• Coachable and receptive to sales training and feedback.

• Previous insurance sales, account management, financial services, banking, automotive, business development, retail, or consultative sales experience preferred.
