Assembler Technician

Description Job Title: Assembler Technician Location: Fremont, CA Employment Type: Contract Industry: Semi-conductor Compensation: $31 (+ 10% shift differential) Schedule: First Shift and Second Shift Available About the Opportunity In this hands‑on role, you'll assemble advanced wafer fabrication equipment in a cleanroom manufacturing environment using detailed work instructions and precision tools. You'll collaborate with a team to meet production goals while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safety at every step. Responsibilities Assemble wafer fabrication equipment using hand tools, fixtures, and detailed work instructions. Read and interpret schematics and computer‑based instructions to complete builds accurately. Inspect parts and components prior to installation to ensure quality standards are met. Support production schedules by collaborating with team members and adapting to changing priorities. Maintain documentation, complete task sign‑offs, and assist with audits and quality checks. Qualifications 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a related technical environment. 1+ years of experience using hand tools and reading technical instructions or schematics. 1+ years of experience working with computer‑based systems (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams). Preferred Qualifications Experience in a cleanroom or Lean manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to adapt quickly and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Additional Information Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen. Ability to work 12+ hour shifts, including overtime as needed. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical tasks such as kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
