Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients throughout the surgical experience, including pre-op, intraoperative, and post-op phases
• Assist surgical team members during operative procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to sterile technique
• Participate in on-call rotation, including approximately every 6th weekend on call and 1–2 call shifts per week
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to facilitate efficient and safe surgical services

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa or a compact state license that permits practice in Iowa
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability and willingness to participate in on-call scheduling, including weekend call rotations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an intraoperative scrub or circulating role
• Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties
• CNOR certification preferred
