This role translates demand signals into actionable production, material, and fulfillment plans, ensuring alignment between sales forecasts, plant execution, and customer commitments.This leader owns both plant-level planning (Master Operations Scheduling) and daily execution discipline, driving performance through KPI management, proactive issue resolution, and cross-functional coordination. The role is accountable for ensuring reliable flow of materials, labor, and production capacity to meet customer expectations for on-time, in-full delivery within market competitive lead times.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPlanning & Execution OwnershipOwn, maintain, and execute the Master Operations Schedule based on demand plans and forecastsTranslate demand into feasible production, inventory, and fulfillment plans across poly operationsEnsure alignment between planning and plant execution, driving adherence to schedules and prioritiesSIOP & Demand IntegrationLead and execute the SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) process for AM&B Poly OperationsPartner with Sales, Finance, and Product Management to validate, refine, and align demand plansEnsure demand signals are accurately captured, validated, and maintained within SAPDaily Performance & Flow ManagementDrive daily performance through KPI-based management of supply chain and production flowMonitor and actively manage:On-Time In-Full Delivery (OTIF)Lead TimesProduction Output vs. PlanInventory LevelsIdentify gaps to plan, implement countermeasures, and escalate risks impacting customer deliveryCapacity & Production AlignmentLead capacity planning and facilitate weekly capacity alignment with OperationsEvaluate constraints across labor, materials, and equipment to optimize throughputEnsure production stability and synchronization across key operational processes (converting, press, extrusion)Team Leadership & AccountabilityLead, coach, and develop a team of planners responsible for order fulfillment and production planningInstill a high-accountability, execution-focused culture centered on data, discipline, and resultsDrive standard work for planning processes and performance trackingCross-Functional CollaborationPartner closely with Operations Director, Plant Manager, Production Managers & Supervisors, and Schedulers to ensure plan adherence and execution disciplineServe as the central point of coordination across Sales, Operations, and Finance for supply chain performanceCommunicate performance, risks, and recovery plans clearly to leadershipEducation and Work ExperienceBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing supply chain, planning, or operationsProven experience in execution-focused supply chain roles, driving daily performance and operational resultsExperience leading and developing production, planning, or operations teamsProven experience with production scheduling in a manufacturing environmentStrong working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (SAP preferred)Advanced proficiency in Excel and data-driven decision-makingDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence plant operationsPreferred SkillsAPICS, CPIM, or CSCP certificationExperience in Make-to-Order manufacturing environmentsLean / Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred) with demonstrated application in flow optimization and waste reductionExperience driving KPI-based performance management systemsDiversity and InclusionWe believe in diversity of thought and bringing together other traits and characteristics that make an individual bring a unique experience to Pregis.
