Recognizes the signs and symptoms of stroke and calling a stroke alert overhead. Verbalizes stroke alert process. Works with the stroke patient and family for discharge planning and treatment based on needs, condition and prognosis of patient. Roles and Responsibilities Reports to the Director of Case Management. Must be a Florida RN. 2-4 years recent acute care experience required. Experience in utilization chart review and discharge planning. Managed care experience preferred. Knowledge of InterQual Criteria. Strong clinical background needed with strong interpersonal communication skills. Basic computer skills.
