You'll ensure the grounds, common areas, and amenities are clean, safe, and well-presented while supporting the maintenance team with day-to-day operations.This role is hands-on and fast-paced, combining physical work, attention to detail, and teamwork to create a community residents are proud to call home.Key Responsibilities:Grounds & Exterior MaintenanceMaintain cleanliness of grounds, parking areas, and property perimetersSweep sidewalks, breezeways, and common walkwaysMaintain dumpster areas and support periodic power washingAssist with basic exterior upkeep including signage, lighting, and curb appealPool & Amenity AreasClean and maintain pool areas, furniture, and surrounding spacesEmpty trash receptacles and maintain overall cleanliness of amenitiesSupport upkeep of shared outdoor areas and equipmentCommon Area UpkeepMaintain cleanliness of laundry rooms and shared interior spacesKeep common areas organized, clutter-free, and presentableSupport overall property appearance standardsUnit Turns & Maintenance SupportAssist with trash-outs and preparation of vacant unitsSupport maintenance technicians with assigned tasksDeliver notices, newsletters, and communications to residentsAssist with special projects as neededResident ExperienceProvide courteous and professional interactions with residentsPromote a positive and welcoming community environmentRepresent the property with professionalism at all timesTeam Support & OperationsWork collaboratively with maintenance and management teamsFollow safety procedures and company standardsAssist with additional duties and operational needs as assignedWhat Success Looks Like:Maintains clean, safe, and well-presented grounds and common areas dailySupports strong curb appeal and overall property appearanceCompletes assigned tasks consistently and on timeProvides reliable support to the maintenance teamContributes to a positive resident experienceFollows safety procedures and maintains organized work areasGrow With Us:This role can lead to advancement within maintenance and operations: Multi-Site Porter / Groundskeeper Maintenance Technician I, II, III Lead Maintenance Technician Assistant Property Manager (with additional development) Regional or Corporate RolesAdvancement is based on performance, skill development, certifications, and leadership potential.What You Will Bring:Strong work ethic and reliabilityAttention to detail and pride in maintaining clean environmentsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication and customer service skillsCommitment to safety and following proceduresAbility to manage time and complete tasks efficientlyQualifications:High School Diploma or GEDPrevious groundskeeping, janitorial, or maintenance experience a plusAbility to operate basic tools and cleaning equipmentReady to build your career with a company that values stability, growth, and people?
