About the Position

Job Title: Level 2 RN Chemo Certified Med Surg Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x11.5 Hours per Shift: 11.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN Certifications: BLS, Chemo Certification Must-Have: Epic Experience Description: Create individualized care plans for patients under supervision. Recognize and treat cancer-related issues. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to share expertise and knowledge. Conduct cancer research to enhance treatment protocols for cancer patients. Provide supportive resources to patients and families to promote a positive outlook. Educate patients and families regarding treatment expectations. Monitor and record patient progress on a continuous basis. Document patient responses to treatment and medication. Must work every other weekend and holidays as needed. May be requested to work extra shifts to accommodate chemotherapy patients.
