Events Specialist

We are looking for an organized, energetic Events Specialist in the Denver, CO area to support the planning and hands‑on execution of TRUEWERK’s presence at community events, trade shows, jobsite visits, and brand activations. This role sits at the intersection of logistics and brand expression—making sure we show up the right way, with the right people, the right gear, and the right energy. You’ll be responsible for coordinating booth setup, ordering and shipping gear and event materials, coordinating travel and staffing, and supporting in‑person activations with partners, vendors, and brand ambassadors. Role & Responsibilities Event Logistics & Operations Coordinate event logistics for trade shows, community events, and brand activations—from initial planning through post‑event wrap‑up. Manage event registration, booth applications, and sponsorship submissions as directed by the Partnerships/Community group. Coordinate the ordering, inventory tracking, and shipping of product, equipment, branded materials, and booth assets. Oversee booth setup logistics including display systems, signage, AV requirements, furniture, and branded environments. Maintain an organized event calendar and master logistics tracker, keeping all stakeholders informed and deadlines on track. Develop and distribute event and activation briefs using established templates and guidance from Marketing and event stakeholders. Activation Planning & Brand Presence Partner with Brand and Marketing groups to execute activation plans and bring the desired on‑site experience to life. Coordinate product selections and quantities for on‑site display, sales, demos, and giveaways in alignment with brand and budget guidelines. Work with internal groups to ensure brand standards are upheld across all event touchpoints, from booth aesthetics to staff presentation. Travel & Staffing Coordination Manage all travel logistics for event staff, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, and meal coordination. Coordinate staffing communication for each event—who's going, their roles, expectations, and serving as the primary point of contact for staff questions before and during events. Coordinate with leadership and People crews on event staffing needs, scheduling, and resource allocation. Giveaways, Gifting & Brand Engagement Support the execution of on‑site engagement activities—contests, giveaways, interactive elements—that reflect the TRUEWERK brand and connect authentically with the trade community. Coordinate gear seeding and product gifting in alignment with ambassador program and brand initiatives. Source, track, and replenish branded giveaways and swag to keep the event inventory adequately stocked. Track event budgets, process purchase orders, and reconcile expenses post‑event. Coordinate with event vendors, suppliers, and venue contacts to confirm logistics, deliverables, and timelines. Escalate budget concerns, changes, or vendor issues to the appropriate event or marketing lead. Prepare post‑event recaps including key metrics, observations, wins, and areas for improvement. Share event feedback and observations with Marketing and other stakeholders. Maintain organized records of event assets, contacts, contracts, and vendor relationships for institutional knowledge and future reference. Qualifications Must Have 2–4 years of experience in event coordination, trade show management, experiential marketing, or a related field. Experience coordinating multiple events, projects, or activations with competing deadlines. The ability to produce clear event briefs, recaps, and status updates. Experience coordinating event logistics including shipping, setup, vendor communication, and travel. Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of each month. Some events require weekend and/or extended travel. Preferred Skills A background in or familiarity with trades, construction, or blue‑collar industries—you understand who we’re building for, and how to engage with and serve our community. Experience with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com), and logistics tracking systems. Familiarity with branded merchandise sourcing, giveaway procurement, and swag vendor management. Experience supporting trade shows, field marketing, or events for a consumer brand, ideally in apparel, workwear, outdoor, or industrial categories. Physical & Driving Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to operate a truck and pull a trailer up to 30 feet long (including backing up, hitching/unhitching, and navigating tight spaces). CDL not required. Ability to lift, carry, load, and unload event equipment weighing up to 50 lbs regularly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
