Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Augusta, Georgia. This position involves providing specialized perioperative care in a busy, well-equipped surgical unit. Ideal candidates will have experience with orthopedic major joint, general, urology (both open and cysto), minor vascular, and vascular procedures, supporting a team in a dynamic hospital environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift; 10-hour shifts; minimum 40 hours per week; start date 08/31/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an OR nurse; certifications related to OR nursing are preferred but not required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Orthopedic major joint, general, urology (open & cysto), minor vascular, and major vascular experience a plus. Advanced skills in orthopedic procedures are essential.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to assist in other areas if operating rooms are shut down. Internal first, then as help is needed.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have orthopedic experience. The unit handles all surgical cases except open heart, transplants, and eyes. Uniforms (scrubs) will be provided.
