Registered Nurse - Infusion

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing infusion therapies, ensuring safety and comfort throughout treatment. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver individualized patient care in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemo infusion and other medications following established protocols.
• Insert IVs and perform phlebotomy procedures with precision.
• Monitor patient responses and document clinical observations accurately.
• Educate patients on infusion procedures, potential side effects, and post-care instructions.
• Maintain compliance with all safety standards and healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid New York State RN license.
• Possess at least two years of Med/Surg chemo infusion experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in IV insertion and phlebotomy.
• Maintain current AHA BLS certification.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment and patient communication skills.
