Hematologist/Oncologist

Position General Hematologist/Oncologist Location Cape Medical Oncology, Cape Girardeau, Missouri Job Overview Provide diagnosis and treatment of various cancers as a member of the Saint Francis Medical Partners oncology team. Key Responsibilities Treat patients with bone, brain, breast, colon, lung, leukemia, prostate, and skin cancers. Participate in infusion order management and patient care coordination. Work within a multidisciplinary group of 4 Hematologist/Medical Oncologists, 2 Radiation Oncologists, and 2 Advanced Practice Providers. Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; referral-based outpatient practice. Handle roughly 80–90 patients per day with an average of 18–20 patients per physician per day. Maintain a call schedule of one day per week and one weekend per month. Salary & Benefits Base salary of $615,986 plus productivity. Loan repayment reimbursement of up to $42,000 per year. $50,000 signing bonus or monthly stipend for residents. $5,000 for CME, licensing, and dues allowance. Paid malpractice and tail coverage.
