BHT (Counselor Assistant) Job Description: We are seeking a behavioral health technician, or "Counselor's Assistant," for our all male facility. This programming staff position entails supporting and supervising our clients, and working alongside in providing support service to the clinical team treating our adolescent clients who have mental health and substance use issues. Duties: Escorting clients to/from various appointments and sessions. Assisting with activities and engaging with clients as they progress through their recovery. Assisting counselors and therapeutic team. Documenting relevant information regarding the client's activities. Facilitating UA's. Observe and record patient behavior. Provide a safe and supportive environment for clients. Administer and record client medications. Help with daily living activities.
