Senior QA Engineer - Supplier Quality

Responsibilities Approving and qualifying new components and assemblies at suppliers, including process validations (IQ, OQ, PQ). Assessing quality performance issues of suppliers using multiple input data streams from Dexcom and supplier processes to support supplier development activities. Investigating non‑conformance issues, evaluating and approving corrective actions, and verifying effectiveness. Developing systems and processes to improve product safety, increase product consistency and conformance, maintain the supplier quality system, improve production efficiency, and reduce operating and scrap costs. Tracking and trending supplier improvements and ongoing projects cross‑functionally. Qualifications Strong background in one of: injection molding, extrusion, stamping, electronics (PCB and PCBA manufacturing), wire manufacturing, machining and assembly. Minimum 5‑8 years of related experience (or advanced degree with equivalent experience). Experience in medical device quality engineering or supplier quality, with knowledge of 21CFR Part820, ISO13485, ISO14971. Proficiency in techniques such as Six Sigma, gauge R&R, process capability analysis (Cpk/Ppk), lean manufacturing, sampling plans, and statistics. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal and external teams. Ability to manage work and shifting priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Travel capability domestically and internationally. Training and/or certification for quality audits. Travel 25‑50% domestic and international travel required.
