Job Summary:
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN position is located in Colorado. The role involves providing specialized post-anesthesia recovery care for pediatric and adult patients within a Level I trauma teaching hospital environment. Candidates are required to bring their valid nursing license on the first day of assignment.

• Shift: 10-hour rotating shifts, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license (WY Compact), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), 1+ year pediatric PACU experience, current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), experience with Epic, Cerner, or Meditech electronic medical records, and travel experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional experience in pediatric critical care and as a float within PACU or Pediatric ICU settings.
• Additional Information: Position involves float between Anschutz and North Campuses. No weekend shifts; on-call requirement of one weekday per week. Ability to float or be reassigned within clinical competence up to thirty-five (35) miles from the original facility.
• Certifications Needed: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Note: Candidates must be adaptable, skilled in independent function, and comfortable managing a variety of pediatric case types, including trauma, ENT, neurosurgery, oncology, and interventional radiology.
