Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Bettendorf, Iowa. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) in the Midwest. This position involves providing patient care within a multidisciplinary team at a level 1 trauma center. The role includes responsibilities related to clinical management and coordination, with potential to float across local campuses as needed. Job Details Position Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional/clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS, ACLS (American Heart Association) are required. Education Requirements: No specific degree required. Location Requirements: State license required for Illinois, and candidate must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility. Years of Experience: 0 years minimum required. Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid State license in Illinois, BLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS, ACLS (American Heart Association), work history/resume, skills checklist completed within 1 year, license verification, including copy of certifications, and supervisory reference at the time of submission. Additional Information: The role includes working 1-2 of the 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day). Orientation dates are from 8/24 to 9/8, with the start date scheduled for 09/21/2026 and end date on 12/21/2026. Travel assignment requires at least 1 travel contract completed previously and experience with Epic EMR required.
